ESKIMO HAFTED SCRAPER
ALASKA
Smithsonian Institution Collection

Of  interest to the study of Early Paleo-Indian stone tool artifacts would be this hafted scraper from a Late Thule site in Alaska. Artifacts like this give a better understanding of how stone tools like the ones found on Clovis sites may have been used. End-scrapers like this one are not too different from ones found on Clovis sites.

Hafted Eskimo scraper shows three sides.
