BONE SHARK TOOTH This bone point was found several years ago on the Cahokia Mounds site. The missing barb was restored by Greg Perino. This point is a classic example of the Cahokia shark tooth effigy style. Only a few examples of these bone points exist. This one has the typical serrated blade edges plus a very exaggerated steeply angled concave base that could only relate, in form, to shark teeth.
