TWO HOLE GORGET This red slate gorget was found in Warren County, Ohio. It's a good example of a "shuttle" style gorget. The two cone shaped holes were drilled from both sides and meet in the center. There is also a small starter drill hole that was apparently an abandoned attempt to drill the main hole but was not lined up enough to continue. This gorget measures 4 inches (10.1 cm) long.
