EARLY TYPE This fishtail biface is a classic example of an early style. Although it's more crude than other examples and has some damage on the tips of its "wings," it does have some areas of fairly well done parallel pressure flaking. There is also an area where it was ground prior to its final stage pressure flaking. It measures 4 1/8 inches (10.4 cm) long.
