ANDICE
POINTS These seven Andice points were made by Carey Weber and they represent some of his best examples. They were all made from Texas cherts. The deep narrow basal notches were done with indirect percussion flaking using an antler flat punch and a hammer made of wood. The longest point in this picture measures 4 5/8 inches (11.7 cm) long and 2 3/16 inches (5.5 cm) wide. The deepest notches measure 1 1/8 inches (2.8 cm) deep. |
