   This Avonlea point is very well made and represents

an ideal example for the type. This point exhibits fine

pressure flaking and is fairly thin. The base is slightly

concave, the side-notches are "u" shaped and close to

the base and the blade edges are convex. This point

measures 1 3/16 inches (3 cm) long.
