CLOVIS POINTS There were four stone artifacts found during excavation of the Lange-Ferguson Mammoth Kill Site. Two of these were small Clovis points, one was a broken base of another Clovis point and one small flake. This point is made from an opaque black chert and measures 2 1/8 inches long The picture to the right are casts of the two complete Clovis points found on this site. |
